“TAT” moved into the two story building and the business continued to grow. As the owners built the 2-story store they decided to include a shop out back. Ray was building custom furniture in Ellijay but desired to be closer to the store in Blue Ridge. It was then that the owners of the building decided to build a 2-story building for us. Over the course of the next year, God expanded us 3 times. As we began praying the Jabez prayer from 1 Chronicles 4:10, we began to see God`s hand in expanding the business. It didn’t take long for us to realize we needed more space. ![]() The name “Tomorrows Antiques Today” was chosen to reflect that the furniture made by "Papa Bear" (Ray) would one day be antiques. Since most of the town was antique stores, we wanted to do something different that did not hurt other established businesses. We opened a small store on the hill, next to the Deli. Mama Bear (Sandra) wrote a check for the first month’s rent to the owners of Fieldstone Village, the Mason`s, who proved to be more friends and helpers than Landlords.
